Who We Are

A Refuge Built on Faith & Service

Abhayashila — meaning "rock of refuge" — is a compassionate initiative of the Abhayashila Charitable Society, a group of dedicated professionals united by a profound commitment to social service. We exist to create a world where differently-abled children flourish and seniors live with active dignity.

Under the visionary leadership of H.G Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Calcutta of the Syrian Orthodox Church, and with the honoured patronage of H.H Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Abhayashila stands as a testimony to what collective faith and effort can build.

Our campus in the serene greenery of Mavady, Puthoor — just 2 km from town — embodies the principles of green architecture and sustainable living, creating an environment that nurtures body, mind, and spirit.
